I have been a customer of yours for several years. I purchased my second set of Starkey Hearing Aids in June 2023. My Hearing has been decreasing steadily over the years. I received special attention from Rosanne and Gabriel to program the new aids. Gabriel even made a special attachment for my left Hearing Aid, so it wouldn’t fall out when working under cabinets. I can adjust my aids to the particular preprogrammed environment. Such as loud noise, restaurant, car, television and personal, or they change the program to fit my needs. I work as a part time handyman, and aids are easy to adjust. If have a special need to adjust my aids for any reason they will make a special effort to put me on their schedule. Dawn does a special job of scheduling. They have ample parking and a good location. A great business and impeccable service.

As I was reading Highlands Today a few days ago, I came across an article “How to Buy Hearing Aids.” As I read, I thought about myself a few years ago. I hope everyone looked at this article. It was a good article.

I bought several pairs of hearing aids over a few years and didn’t find anything to meet my hearing needs. If I was writing this article today, I would tell you how important it is and what happens after you buy the hearing aids. I think this is as important as where to purchase them.

After trying several pair for a lot of money, I still couldn’t hear as well as I thought I should. Still looking for a pair, I found an article in the Highlands papers that said Lampe and Kiefer specializes in fitting people that had hard hearing problems. I thought this would be important, so I went to Lampe and Kiefer in downtown Sebring. I found they were not only professional people with quality hearing aids but also that they knew how to fit them. There is a lot more to it than just putting them in your ears.

Lampe and Kiefer have many types of hearing aids. Having a good hearing test is most important. This will determine the model of aid you need and will also determine the price of the aid. This lets you pay for only what you need to fix your hearing problems. I can’t tell you how important it is to have good service after you have your hearing aids. Technology keeps getting better all the time. You may need adjustments from time to time, you may have wax in your ears and your hearing may get worse as time goes on. People who couldn’t get help just a few years ago can get help today.

For what it’s worth, I rate Lampe and Kiefer No. 1 for all hearing problems. Everyone is well trained. Spend your money wisely and hear what you have been missing. They do many things besides selling hearing aids. Over the years I’m living proof of that. Give them a call and I know you will be satisfied.

I thought the computer keys were silent until I got my Starkey hearing aids! Also when I went outside I could hear birds singing and I couldn’t remember the last time that happened. My co-workers were the first ones to tell me I needed hearing aids but I wasn’t ready to listen to them. When my sister came to visit she told me I definitely needed them as I had the TV very loud.

I didn’t really know where to go for hearing aids but read an article from a customer in the newspaper about Lampe & Kiefer being the greatest and had been in business here for over 30 years. That is why I chose them.

The people there are very friendly and helpful. They are experts in their profession. I love my hearing aids. I do not even know I am wearing them and no one else really knows unless I point them out.

The follow-up support is superb. The website, the ability to call or go in at any time for help and the willingness to make your hearing aid specially adapted to your needs & lifestyle. My only regret is that I took so long to get my Starkey hearing aids.

I made an appointment to have wax removal performed and once completed, I noticed diminished hearing in my left ear compared to the right. I was immediately offered a free hearing test at a letter date to evaluate my ears. The hearing test confirmed my suspicions and I am now considering a hearing aide for my left ear. During my 3 prior hearing tests, different professionals decided to discontinue testing my right ear because my recruitment was so bad it caused much pain. Consequently, I was fitted with a crossover and consistently searched the room since I could still no longer discern directional sound. Roseann Kieffer demonstrated great expertise in testing that ear to reduce the volume and use factors to minimize the pain in testing. She found I do have some hearing in that ear and so now wear a molded device which amplifies sound within limited ranges. I only just got them, so they’ll need some adjustments, but I am now more able to discern the directional source of sounds! I am delighted with my restored ability to understand better what I’m hearing. I believe Ms Kiefer is a notch above in experience, training, and problem solving. The support staff is also pleasant and I highly recommend her and the practice.
